I am thrilled to share my positive experience with EHOOSH where my child has been attending for the past 4 years. The OOSH team are beyond wonderful. Tara tends to be anxious about new situations and people, so when she started at OOSH last year we expected it would be very challenging for her to settle in. Rather than having the months of anxiety and distress that we were expecting, the OOSH team made her feel at ease immediately and within a few weeks she was asking to be picked up later so she could stay longer. This isn't just due to the OOSH team being friendly, warm, and taking the time to get to know each of the kids individually, but because they go out of their way to create an environment and variety of activities the kids love. OOSH is often the highlight of Tara’s whole day.

It's clear the OOSH team really cares about the kids, the quality of their care, and the whole EHPS community. They have gotten to know our whole family and our three year old daughter can't wait to go to school so she can start at OOSH - today she brought home a very precious (i.e., pink) flower that she has asked we press so we can give it to Lisa as a present. As a parent I appreciate the openness of the team to input - essentially everything they do makes our lives easier (especially the fantastic vacation care program!). I could go on forever, but the point I want to make is that EHOOSH is an invaluable part of the school community that I can’t imagine losing. I hope we can pull together as a community to keep them long into the future.

From the bottom of our hearts, we appreciate how OOSH EHPS has consistently been a source of emotional support for our children when needed. Your warm and nurturing environment has helped them flourish emotionally, and for that, we are truly grateful.

One of the aspects we cherish most about OOSH EHPS is the emphasis on fresh, home-cooked meals and the inclusion of children in cooking activities. It's heartwarming to see our children engage in such meaningful experiences.

Furthermore, your commitment to involving parents in decision-making processes, such as through constant consultation, is commendable. It truly reflects your dedication to providing the best possible care for our children.

During the brief period when OOSH was undergoing changes, we had to explore other after-school care options. However, it was evident that no other service could match the quality of care, staff consistency, nutritious food, appropriate children-to-educator ratios, and overall level of engagement that OOSH EHPS offers.

We want to assure you that our trust and love for OOSH EHPS remain unwavering. We wholeheartedly believe in the exceptional care you provide and feel privileged to entrust our children to your capable hands.

We adore the EHPS OOSH. The quality of the offering is next level. It is evident that there is intention based on critical reflection and thought; behind all that they do. The care that the staff have shown to Hudson has been so lovely for him. OOSH has been the highlight of his schooling so far, it’s what he speaks about the most! As a parent I’ve felt confident leaving Hudson in the care of OOSH due to the high level of care and staffing. He’s always left happy. 

The quality of the food he receives is also a benefit.

As a family we are so grateful to have such a wonderfully caring and dedicated OOSH team at our son's school. Every element of the care and education provided is personalised and thoughtfully planned. The activities, delicious meals, open communication are all fantastic. The educators are so welcoming and relaxed, and we love the complete emphasis on play! Our son sees OOSH as an absolute treat, and is always asking to go. The children have such freedom in their environment to create and explore - to truly be children. We love the flexibility provided, and we have already developed such a wonderful partnership with the team in such a short time. It is like having a family at school. Thank you so much ❤️

As a parent, I can’t express enough how much we love the current OOSH team at Eastwood Heights. They run an incredible, not-for-profit service that is truly a second home for our child. I never imagined that after-school care could be so full of care, fun, and genuine attention to the well-being of the kids.

The food provided for afternoon tea is nothing short of amazing, so much so that the kids requested their own recipe book! 

The activities offered are a dream come true for any child. From caring for guinea pigs to engaging in classic childhood adventures like climbing trees, playing in the dirt, rolling down hills, and building cubby houses, the experiences are simply magical.

The OOSH team bring a unique and heartfelt approach to after school care that we fear would be lost if taken over by a private company. I sincerely hope they will continue to run OOSH for many years to come, allowing future generations of Eastwood Heights children to experience the same joy, care, and creativity that our child has cherished.

We are so happy with the care and support our children receive at EHOOSH. The staff are incredibly kind and always make sure the children feel safe and welcome. My children (two daughters) was and is looked after by Eastwood OOSH with before/after school care and Vacation care. 

Educators/Admin people are so close to the community and understand the family needs, I always feel safe to leave my kid in their hands.

The enrolment process is very structured yet very flexible towards ad-hoc needs. 

Activities they provide to kids are wide-range and entertaining.  I love watching my kid being active, laughing, playing with her friends in OOSH.
